Secret government records

Posted by AF under government records

Secret government records are a black eye to regular citizens, who have many questions surrounding certain events and happenings that can't be answered due to the records of such events being classified as 'secret'. This secrecy leads to a blatant mistrust of anything connected to government and a breakdown of communication in terms of governing. The usual hoops that people are made to jump through in order to get information of this type, is humiliating and frustrating. They go through a swarm of excuses, denials, and delays, in the hopes they will give up and just let the matter go.

It's funny, and quite convenient for the government, when the heat gets turned up for turning over some secret government records, only to find that they are now 'missing'. The government, under the guise of protecting America, has stooped to some of the lowest tactics ever displayed, sacrificing the general public at will in order to cover up their secret dealings. They have become a disgrace, but also, unlike the way it was in years past, they no longer even care. It's 'in your face' roughshod treatment, and they make no apologies about it.

From UFOs to terrorism, secret government records have been stockpiled and protected from being revealed to the what they consider the wrong sources. Just as in the protestors today, the rallies sometimes have 'professional protestors', paid by the elite to create diversions that will involve police and detract from the message of the protest. These events then become secret records. By not being transparent, and totally disregarding the peoples wishes, the government has become more and more of a foe, and not a friend. They infringe on rights without apology, and esteem their goals as higher than those of the average citizens.

In a perfect world there would be no need for secret government records. What have they done that after the fact could not be told to the general public? Why do they guard these documents so intensely? It's understandable that some documents may need to be hidden until the reason for their existence has played out, but why continue after that? It could be because the game is still 'playing out', and until it's finished, these records could spoil the outcome. The whole thing has been the object of movies and much speculation, which is bound to occur whenever people don't know the facts.

The keeping of secret government records has its place, but many feel the government has simply gone out of control, and is unable and willing to pay the consequences of the public outcry that would ensue if they were released. An ideal world would be run by a government that consults with its citizens before making decisions to act. When did the general public become so ignorant that the government can't let them be part of the process? Government arrogance says we're not capable of making the right decisions in determining our fates.
